Objective
The objective of the project was to increase sales during the end of the financial year. As a designer, I worked with the copywriter, account manager and art director to come up with a concept that would effectively appeal to the target audience.
Concept
We decided to focus on the idea of upgrading one's status, as we identified that people buy luxury cars not only for their functional benefits, but also as a status symbol. The concept was to create social media posts that would showcase the visuals and the copy, calling on people to upgrade their status by purchasing one of our luxury cars.
Implementation
We started by conducting research on our target audience and analyzing their behavior. Based on our findings, we developed a series of social media posts that would effectively communicate the concept of upgrading one's status through the purchase of a luxury car. The posts were designed to be visually striking and attention-grabbing, with compelling copy that emphasized the status-boosting benefits of owning one of our cars.
We also made sure to align the visual elements with the overall brand aesthetic and style guide, while incorporating the latest design trends to ensure that our posts would stand out in a crowded social media landscape. The team worked closely to ensure that the design, copy, and messaging were cohesive and effective in driving sales.
Results
The social media posts were highly successful in achieving our objective of boosting sales during the end of the financial year. Our target audience responded positively to the messaging and visuals, leading to a significant increase in sales during the promotional period. Our campaign also garnered a high level of engagement on social media, with many users sharing and commenting on the posts.
Conclusion
As a designer, I played a key role in the success of this project by collaborating with the copywriter, account manager and art director to develop a concept that effectively communicated the benefits of upgrading one's status through the purchase of a luxury car. The resulting social media posts were visually striking, attention-grabbing, and aligned with the brand aesthetic and style guide. The campaign was a great example of how a strong concept, cohesive messaging, and effective design can come together to achieve business objectives.
